Danielle began her personal yoga practice as a young teenager and discovered her passion for holistic nutrition and herbal health while studying to become a Registered Nurse in Palm Desert, CA in 2002. She took a course titled "Women's Health" which led her to the book Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom by Dr. Christiane Northrup. This book was life-changing for Danielle and opened her eyes to natural health and wellness apart from the medical and pharmaceutical industry. This inspiration led her to embark on a healing lifestyle change including a whole foods diet and supplementation program. Changing both diet and lifestyle helped to dramatically improve her hormonal imbalances, energy levels, and almost instant weight loss. These simple changes convinced her of the tremendous healing power of food and nutrition, resulting in a vibrant, balanced and joyful way of life.
Fueled by her passions, Danielle became a Certified Yoga Teacher, Herbalist & Holistic Nutritionist in order to share her knowledge with others. Her Holistic Nutrition practice is unique, in that Danielle does not advocate any one specific way of eating. She believes that every individual has distinct dietary needs based upon genetics, lifestyle, gender, blood type, stress levels, childhood eating habits, current state of health and future health goals. Therefore, she focuses on bio-individuality, while imparting a positive and empowering perspective shift around food that results in greater lifelong health and wellness.
